I had the honor of being part of a group of three designers in which we created the visualization for a roughly 10-minute-long interview for the documentary “Collective Threads, Collective Rights—Livelihoods of Garment Workers in Sri Lanka”. The film is made by Keerthana Kuperan and Karthika Nadarajah in cooperation with comduit, a registered association that wants to revolutionize development cooperation by using diaspora resources as a migrant self-organization.

I was involved in every step from early conceptualization to the finished video. My primary tasks were the pre-production research and acquisition of reference material, concept art, storyboarding, and creation of the first animatic.

All artworks shown are created by me unless specifically stated. The other designers included in the project were Clara Müller (artist of all blue illustrations on page) and Karla Schauer.
